From dress to statement top
This piece began as a simple knee-length dress, with beautiful lace detailing around the neckline and sleeves that I knew I wanted to preserve. I transformed the original silhouette into a fitted top, then created the polka-dot and “Jesus Saves” design and applied it with vinyl. To finish the piece, I hand-sewed a white ribbon at the front, giving the original garment an entirely new look while keeping some of the details that made it special in the first place.
A simple top, given a new message
This piece began as a simple black top with delicate lace around the neckline. I created the repeated “Jesus Saves” design and applied it with vinyl, then hand-sewed a ribbon and cross charm at the center as the finishing touch. A simple piece transformed into something unique, feminine, and centered on a message that matters.
